ART QUILTS by Darlene Bayley

Originals! Some of My Favorite Pieces Landscapes The Family ... Even More!

Being a Fibre Artist is a wonderful existence ...

The life of a fibre artist is always interesting ...

I am an art quilter and fiber artist from Edmonton, Canada.  I have displayed and taught in several cities, and been fortunate to receive a few gold medals along the way!

I am a member of the Edmonton & District Quilters' Guild, and sit on the Board of the Focus on Fibre Arts group.  I am also a fortunate new member of Fibre Friends.  I manager the fabric end of Quilter's Dream (part of Johnson's Sewing Centre).  I am available to teach to your guild or group - stay tuned for details!

I have a second web site with even more pictures that I am starting to build!  Also check out quilting.freehosting.net  Thanks!  I appreciate your continued interest in my work.  PLEASE go to your URL line and type in my second site - my newest works are on it!

This is my latest piece, titled "Girl in the Window". I am a medievalist at heart. She is totally pieced, and I painted her face. SOLD! (and it wasn't even for sale!)

This piece was inspired by a work by Roger Alexandre, entitled "Halte a quatre temps".

Almost all of my quilts and originals are for sale.   I have sold many pieces over the past few years, and now have works in Poland, Germany and across Canada from coast to coast!

There are unknown technical difficulties with this site, and it won't let me load new pictures! Sometimes technology baffles me.
